Dr. Alexa Kalynowsky is a graduate of Logan University in St. Louis, Missouri. During her time in chiropractic school she had the opportunity to work in various clinic settings from Welfare and family practices in Missouri to sports rehab clinics in Colorado. She is driven by her passion to help each patient reach their individual goals through education and conservative management of their musculoskeletal concerns.
She uses a variety of techniques including Diversified, Activator and Drop-Assisted adjusting, joint mobilizations, and soft tissue work such as trigger point therapies, cupping, guasha, and targeted stretches and strengthening exercises. She also looks forward to growing her skill set and knowledge base through continuing education courses.

Dr. Christina McGlashan is the Clinic Director of River Oaks Chiropractic and Wellness Centre and has been practicing as a Chiropractor and Acupuncture practitioner for over 15 years. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology and Genetics at the University of British Columbia, in Vancouver. Subsequently, she went on to graduate with numerous awards, including clinical skills excellence, and clinic honours from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, in Toronto. Dr. McGlashan completed the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program at McMaster University in 2004, and has completed her Fellowship of Chiropractic Physical and Occupational Rehabilitation, a specialty of Chiropractic. She is the only Chiropractic Physical and Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist in Oakville.
Dr. McGlashan enjoys an active lifestyle and instills the importance of overall good health with proper nutrition, exercise, and balancing work and family in a healthy manner. Helena was first introduced to massage therapy as a member of the national track and field team in Slovakia, and learned first hand the benefits of massage therapy through treatment of her own injuries. She now has over 17 years of healthcare experience in a variety of fields including physiotherapy and massage and uses her vast knowledge base to provide patients with a custom tailored massage to meet their healthcare needs and goals.
She uses a variety of treatment techniques including swedish massage, deep tissue, hydrotherapy, and remedial exercise to treat various musculoskeletal and neuromuscular disorders. Helena has also completed additional training in massage cupping, reflexology, hot stone therapy, pediatric Cranio-Sacral therapy, nerve mobilization, remedial exercise for the treatment of postural dysfunction.
